Terri Mosley resides at one of Philly's prominent churches, alongside Pastor Jerome Clark. Married to her former pimp, the prostitute-turned-Evangelist has a weakness when it comes to spending more time at the church than at home with her husband, Deacon Richard Mosley.
While Terri is struggling to make her marriage a priority, her union to Richard caused tension between herself and her step-kids, following a dark secret that shadows over the happy couple. Even though she's already dealing with enough turmoil, Terri is being blackmailed and is forced to take a trip back home to Bristol to face family members she hasn't seen in over a decade. When things in her life start to happen unexpectedly, Terri is hell-bent on solving a mystery she thought was put to rest years ago. She is willing to commit every act of sin to satisfy her hidden desires and remains the Pastor's right-hand empress. But when Richard is tempted to fall back on his old tricks, Evangelist Terri may have to take a few steps back.
Pastor Jerome Clark is a minister at St. Luke Church of Christ and has built a name for himself while trying to focus on his growing congregation. One thing that stands in his way of reaching the altitude of a world-renowned pastor is the temptation of the female flesh. Behind the black cassock clergy robe lies a sinner. On the other hand, First Lady Julia knows her husband all too well and delivers him the best gift that will change his life. Julia is saved but has a way of feeding her flesh. She has a hidden agenda that will explode at the biggest event held at St. Luke Church, leaving members of the congregation flabbergasted.

Oh my, my, my! I can not believe this story. What an active imagination you have, at least I pray its just your imagination. I would hate to learn of these sort of things happening in today's churches. This book had me feeling some kind of way. I so wanted to sympathies with Terri when she was Maddie, but to learn that she introduced her sister to that cruel reality that she lived daily, I could find no sympathy. I also could harbor no resentment to her leaving to find her own peace. But to stand in front of a congregation of people and to direct them as to which way God would have them to go....I just do not understand. Especially if a person was not living a life, both publicly and privately appealing to God. But hey maybe I'm just old fashioned. Anyway, I would recommended this book to others, just not as a Christian novel.Product details

Deliver Me From Temptation An Introduction of Terri Mosley edition by Bianca Harrison Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
Well well well, this book was full of 'do as I say & not as I do'. Love the flow of this book & it kept my interest. Good grief Terri's life is a hurricane mess.
Tis book was incredible. It was serious, funny, and sometimes hard to believe some of the situations these characters got themselves into but the way the world is now it is very possible.
I was ready for book 2 as soon as I finished. Keep up the good work.
This book was a thriller, it wasn't at all what I thought it was going to be. These characters were real pieces of work and had only a form of Godliness. My goodness it really was a heart breaking fictional, but what could really happen when sin is present. No wonder Almighty GOD will not tolerate sin,and will judge the church first HE can not give that to HIS Bride. SMH!
I WAS totally not prepared to find this kind of vulgar sinful content within this book. It is a shame for the author to mix Christianity with such degrading and bad behavior in the Name of my Lord. I am offended. I quickly closed the book and will try and pray for the author.
I chose this book because of the title. It did not disappoint I loved the way the story unfolded. I could not put in down. It's one of those books you just can not put down. This was a very entertaining read. If Teri Mosley got this kind of introduction I can harley wait to to read her books!
The book was written in a why that held your interest but it makes people of faith look so fake. That sin should be enjoyed in Jesus name. I know we are human but we should learn from God not use him for our needs . Sex , lies and temptations are everywhere we get that , but so is God. The people in this book did not learn about Grace and Mercy but more sin is the outcome. For that I am sorry.
I knew from the beginning when the pastor (using this word lightly) said call him Jerome something was wrong. That's why God said some will say on that day Lord Lord didn't I do all these things in Your name and the Lord is going to say depart from me. This is why there is no power like it should be in our churches now SIN ...and to think this is really happening...SAD. the world doesn't respect when we say we are Christian because of all this bad carrying on....even in the church....wow and eye opener really made me think...help us Lord
